Thanksgiving at the Carolls:

Bill and Rachel Caroll. Ever hospitable, they host a Bible study every week, always feed us well, have cute children and refer to us collectively as MINNESOTA!

Thanksgiving at iccp (the English-speaking church):

Us with Kelsey, Max and Olivier

This is Max. He is in Emily and Megan's class. His real name is Maximillian, which he hates but we love. He is German and this was his first Thanksgiving.

Aww, you guys are so cute! Glad to see you had a festive and friend-filled Thanksgiving! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, so you can tell i'm playing catch-up ... but this is too funny. I also scrounged around while in Denmark to ensure I had the traditional sweet-potatoes-topped-with-marshmallows ... !!

On another note, I'm thrilled to see you all found an international church! That was completely one of the highlights for me -- you'll remember that fellowship for years!
Keep doing well (and get better)!

Yeah, the sweet potatoes (which turned out to be white inside?!?) with marshmallows were definitely a highlight for several folks who had never celebrated Thanksgiving before. =)
ReplyDeleteThe International Christian Community of Provence, or [iccp], has treated us well. God has blessed us so much while we've been here!
