St. Nicholas Day in Aix

Coffee cake in a quiche pan - we make do.

St. Nicholas originally threw bags of gold through

the windows...now symbolized by oranges.

Liqueur filled chocolates - way to go St. Nick!

We were able to borrow Christmas decorations

from a family who won't be home for Christmas.

Homemade chocolat chaud...delicieux!

Chestnuts roasting by an open fire

We made a stop for crepes - ham and cheese.

They also have hotdogs as a filling option. Hard to

believe, so there's the documentation. Sliced open hotdogs.

A rather unfortunate blend of our two cultures, I think.

Fabulous jazz band on Cours Mirabeau. Not

your everyday street musicians.
